Qualifications

• Master in Fine Art (MFA) in Painting. At present, working with Vivek High School, Sec-38, Chandigarh from April 2008 till date as PGT Fine Art on HoD post

Awards and Honours

• Punjab State Award in Millennium Drawing Exhibition – April-2000, Punjab Lalit Kala Academy, Chandigarh.
• Award in All India Art Exhibition (North Region) for painting in 2000 and 2005, Bank of Punjab, Chandigarh.
• Invited as an expert and judge for 5 days workshop for ‘Collage Making’ by Kurukshetra University in its Youth Festival in 2001.
• Invited as an expert and judge for 3 days workshop for ‘On the Spot Painting’ by MLN College, Yamunanagar in 2005.
• Participated twice in National Exhibition of Art in Jaipur and Delhi in year 2000 and Goa in year 2008.
• Participated in All India ‘Millenium young artist workshop’ in New Delhi organized by AIFACS.

Special Assignments

• Created wall size Mural titled ‘Jungle Book’, large panels for junior boys dormitories, backdrops and made large hand made logos, hoardings for Pine Grove School.
• Created large backdrop for merchant of Venis for Doon International School.
• Created backdrops and large wall size collage in Vivek High School.
• Done POP carving, stone carving and wood carving and lot of clay modeling besides painting.
